Netflix is set to hold its annual Tudum live event presentation next weekend at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles with a several-hour live stream taking place starting at 5pm US-PT on May 31st.

While various movies and shows will get trailers and have live appearances from cast and crew, it all comes down to their big four – “Squid Game” final season, “Wednesday” season two, “Stranger Things” season five, and the live-action “One Piece” season two.

Both “Stranger Things” and “One Piece” are expected to not only have cast showing up at the event but also to screen the first footage and/or trailers from their new seasons which are due out this Fall and early next year respectively.

Today, in an effort to promote the event, Netflix has a special two-minute segment with the Straw Hat crew from “One Piece” coming together to have a ‘slumber party’ and watch a film which is a promo for the event.

Series regulars Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji all appear in the brief clip, with at least two of them breaking character at one point.

The second season of “One Piece” was shot across the back half of 2024 and the first few weeks of 2025 in South Africa with new additions including Joe Manganiello as Crocodile, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday/Princess Lily, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, and David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3 among others.
